I ordered some custom items from Kim at The Scarlett Boutique and I got my package today!!! I was so excited! I could not wait to see what she made for me! The items I ordered are so beautiful!!! Beyond my expectations. God has given Kim a fabulous creative gift - she is so talented! She makes the most gorgeous things. Look what I got!

An adorable bin to put Brynlee's shoes in. It matches her room perfectly - it is exactly what I imagined it to look like!

A hook customized for my furbaby Daphne's leash - isn't it so cute?!?

I had her make this bin for the kid's backpacks but after seeing how fabulous it is, I don't want dirty clunky backpacks thrown into it - I am going to find a use for it for me!

And Kim is such a sweet lady, she made this frame for Brynlee after seeing her room pictures - isn't it just gorgeous?!?!

Everyone Deserves a 2nd Chance!

Hello! So Friday I had my interview - I was soooooo nervous, I was a blubbering idiot! I was hot, my face was red, my answers were all over the place. At one point the Principal said "you don't like to interview very much, do you?" I am usually a very good interviewer. I felt awkward! When I got into my car, I started crying, I just knew I blew it! We went to the mountains for the weekend and the whole time I went over the interview in my mind and how I would have answered if given another chance. When I told my mom about the interview she said "maybe you subconsciously sabatoged yourself" because I was feeling disloyal to the school that I am at. My Principal, Asst. Principal and co-workers have all been sooo supportive and encouraging. I got a phone call yesterday morning from the new Principal wanting to meet with me again to talk. I went in very relaxed and we had a nice chat or an informal 2nd interview. He told me he saw that I was really nervous the first time and that he had heard great things about me and basically gave me a 2nd chance! I got the call this afternoon - I got the job!!! I start tomorrow morning! I am sooo excited! I am now full time with benefits and I still get all the time off my kids do. I couldn't ask for a better position - the new Principal is fabulous and I think we are going to get a long wonderfully!

I took Bryn school supply shopping today for all the things she and brother will need to start school on Monday - I can't believe that summer is already over!!! It has flown by! We did a little clothes shopping too. I got some fabulous new clothes and jewlery for my new job and Miss priss got some cute new clothes for school! I am just on cloud 9 right now!

I am putting together a fun little giveaway to do in a few days.

Yay! Look what I got!!!

A Rhino!!! We have been wanting one for a long time and we got a really good deal - it is used but looks brand new! It is street legal so I can drive it to work and to the grocery store - when it is not 115 degrees out!

We are going to take it up to Jim's parents place in the mountains for the weekend along with the kids bikes.

I have an interview this afternoon for a full time position for another school within my district - I won't be working at my kids school anymore but I will be full time and I will still have all of the benefits of being off with them when they are off of school - wish me luck!

Bedroom Pics!!!

Here are the pics of Brynlee's room make-over! I totally forgot to do a before but it was a really light lilac color and it was Cheetah Girls - I couldn't take it anymore!


I painted the walls a pretty darker lilac and gave her "big girl" bedding, it is really cute it has sequins seperating the different rows. She can be like her teenage cousin who has the cutest room.


My gramma gave my mom that rocking chair when she had my brother - I would like to do something cute with it maybe with some fabric tulle or something. You can't really see but the drapes are tied back with cute ribbon and purple daisies.


My niece and I painted the crown with the B in the middle and the saying "It's not easy being a princess but if the crown fits" I am going to add some rhinestones to it to give it bling!

I love all of her cute pillows - I made the bolster pillow - it has pink flowers on the ends and I ironed on the DIVA crystals.

I am soo happy with the way it turned out - she is 6 and it is still cute but she can grow with it too and we can add to it.

The Reveal, Hair & a Romper

Happy Hump Day!!!

Last night Brynlee got home and she asked if we could play a game so I told her to go find one in her room and she turned on the light and her eyes got all big and she smiled and giggled! I said do you like it and she said "Yes, you did a good job mama!" YAY!!! She loves it! I am soo happy! I am thrilled to have her home - I missed her soo much! She lost another tooth yesterday so now she is missing her two front teeth - but she still looks gorgeous! Hubs has the dang camera again, I will post pictures in a later post today or tomorrow.

I got my hair cut and hilighted yesterday - I cut off about 2.5 inches and added a few layers - but she cut my bangs too short - I am not loving them.

When I went out of sushi with my friend Susie, she was wearing this adorable 7 for all mankind romper - I was envious! But with a price tag of 189.00 - it's just not in the shopping budget right now. Isn't it cute?

So what is a girl to do??? Find one at Target that is just as cute and only 24.99!

Isn't if fabulous?!? I wore this one yesterday and I loved it!!! It was soo comfortable, I wish I could find more like it in different colors!
